PCC MCAA recived a silver certificate of corporate social responsibility with 56 points awarded by analysts of the EcoVadis Platform. The company was invited to report on the platform as a participant of the global supply chain, thus joining the circle of other PCC Group companies awarded for several years with the silver and gold EcoVadis certificates. These companies include: PCC EXOL SA, PCC Rokita SA, PCC CP Kosmet Sp. z o.o.
The EcoVadis team, which evaluates the reports of over 30,000 organizations, has more than 300 experienced experts representing 40 different nationalities. The EcoVadis certificate is a very significant and prestigious distinction, awarded for pro-ecological development and achievements in the areas of environment, employment, fair busieness practices and the supply chain. By reporting to EcoVadis and thanks to the global scale of its activities, PCC MCAA is now one of the dozens of internationally active chemical companies that has launched a regular and comprehensive self-assessment as part of its commitment to sustainable production, consumption and social responsibility.
The platform’s statistics testify to the implementation of sustainable development practices, both in highly developed countries and in regions that are at the beginning of the path to stable economic growth. Moreover, the EcoVadis assessment is one of several key elements relating supplier’s qualification systems assigned by companies operating in various economy sectors all over the world. This is also the case with customers of PCC MCAA , where the company is qualified to cooperate as a supplier of raw materials on the basic of the results of an evaluation carried out by experts of the platform.
