PCC MCAA Sp. z o.o. (primarily PCC P4 Sp. z o.o.), with headquarters in Brzeg Dolny, at 4 Sienkiewicza street, was registered in 2010 and belongs to the PCC SE Capital Group. Together with its main shareholder – MCAA SE company, were established to build a new, innovative installation for the production of monochloroacetic acid (MCAA). The company’s range of activity currently includes the production and sale of monochloroacetic acid and its derivatives.

The location of the areas in Brzeg Dolny was chosen as the investment site, near Wroclaw in the Walbrzych Special Economic Zone. As a result of market analysis, PCC recognized the market demand for MCA acid from an independent producer. It was decided to take advantage of the opportunity to develop a modern production installation increasing the palette by a product placed on a constantly growing market and consuming chlorine produced locally by the Chlorine Complex belonging to PCC Rokita SA. The installation built and commissioned in 2016 has the capacity to produce 42 ktpa MCAA per year.

Due to the specificity of production processes and the location of the company, much attention is paid to activities ensuring total technical safety of conducted chemical processes and environmental protection. We have a qualified and experienced staff and rich technical base enabling maintaining the standards of product production and rendering services at a high level. The solutions used minimize the risk of threats. Constant monitoring of the plant area, production processes, technical condition of installations and devices allows to maintain an appropriate level of process safety, which is one of the most important priorities of the Company’s operations.

The monochloroacetic acid produced in the plant has a wide range of applications in many industries.
